The first Weedmaps Kickback Lit by Rolling Loud lands in Brooklyn on Thursday, September 10 with xaviersobased headlining, and Torches is presenting alongside eleven other New York cannabis brands. Weedmaps and Rolling Loud built the night around live music, munchies, and interactive activations. We decided to add something extra on top: a scavenger hunt that sends you home with a goodie bag.

Weedmaps is back in New York City, and this round they teamed up with Rolling Loud to launch the Weedmaps Kickback series. The pitch is simple. Cannabis culture and music culture share a lot of the same people, so put them in one room and see what happens.
The event runs Thursday, September 10 from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM at 99 Scott in Brooklyn. Entry requires you to be 21 or older with a valid ID that matches the name on your Partiful RSVP. Weedmaps recommends signing the waiver ahead of time so check-in moves faster, and parking around the venue stays limited, so plan on a rideshare.

xaviersobased Headlines
xaviersobased tops the bill. The Manhattan rapper and producer helped pioneer the jerk microgenre through his 1c34 collective, signed to Atlantic Records, and released his debut album Xavier earlier this year. A hometown set from him at a room this size does not happen often.
Apollored1, Babyxsosa, and DJ Rennesy in Support
Babyxsosa plays support. The Roc Nation signee broke out with “Everywhereigo” and spent time in Surf Gang before going solo, and her lo-fi trap and electropop catalog covers a lot of ground for one set. Apollored1 and DJ Rennessy round out the bill, and the hosts have teased surprise guests on top of the announced lineup.

Complimentary finger food covers the munchies, and the interactive activities run throughout the night across the brand activations. Weedmaps also asks attendees to download the Weedmaps app and sign up at weedmaps.com/signup for a shot at exclusive merch, though supplies will run out quick.

Work the room. This gives you a reason to actually meet the people behind the products instead of walking past a dozen tables.

Fill the card, then bring it to our Midtown dispensary at 12 East 42nd Street. Make any purchase, no minimum required, and we hand you a goodie bag. Buy a single Akron Bloom pre-roll if that’s all you want. The size of your order doesn’t matter.

99 Scott sits in East Williamsburg, walkable from the Jefferson Street L stop and a short ride from most of North Brooklyn. Since parking runs tight, a rideshare or the train makes the most sense.
Our dispensary sits on the other side of the East River in Midtown, half a block from Grand Central Terminal and a short walk from Bryant Park and the New York Public Library. We stay open until midnight Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, which gives you a nice window to cash in your scavenger hunt card the next day.
